Energy Date Chocolate Bar
- ⅛ cup of chopped dates
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup of raw cacao powder
- 1 drop of almond or vanilla extract
- ⅛ cup slivered raw almonds
- ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted
- ⅛ cup pecans, chopped into small pieces
Optional: more cinnamon, cacao nibs, coconut flakes
Combine the coconut oil with the cinnamon and the cacao powder. Stir well.
Take a cookie baking sheet that you’ll cover with wax paper and spread the mixture on it.
Apply the pecans, coconut flakes, dates and almonds all over the spread mixture.
Keep it in the fridge until it becomes very hard. It should be served chilled. Store it in the fridge because of the coconut oil that can melt if it’s in warm temperature.
