At the beginning of the 20th century, antibiotics were the next big thing in medicine. Before them, people treated any kind of health problem with natural remedies that often had severe consequences on the health of the patient. Once antibiotics came to the scene, they immediately improve the life expectancy of all people by about 10 years! However, recent evidence suggests that they’re not so miraculous after all – in fact, they are outright dangerous for our health.
The constant use of antibiotics has made bacteria and fungi pretty resistance, and has resulted in the creation of the so-called superbugs which resist antibiotics completely. As time passes and we throw new antibiotics on them, the bacteria upgrade their defense systems bit by bit, and are getting increasingly hard to treat every year. This is why scientists are working around the clock to develop even more complex antibiotics, but they are failing the race by now.
The revival of natural remedies
Due to the antibiotics resistance and the creation of superbugs, people have started turning to natural remedies instead. It’s easy to see why – most natural remedies worked great in the past, and although they might need more time, they’re sometimes even more efficient than conventional antibiotics.
How to choose the right natural antibiotic?
If you want to defeat the bacteria in your body and the infection they’ve caused, it’s very important to do good research. There are different natural remedies that can either kill bacteria, fungi or parasites, but not all of them at once. Antibiotics can’t fight viruses, so using them against a viral infection makes no sense.
Natural antibiotics are great against bacteria such as salmonella, E. Coli, H. Pylori, sore throat and ear infections. The most powerful antibiotics are oregano oil, honey, garlic, onion, horseradish, turmeric, ginger and ACV.
On the other hand, the anti-fungal natural remedies are effective against fungi infections only. The most powerful antifungals are ACV, turmeric and ginger extract, Echinacea root extract, etc. These remedies are most often used against candida albicans infections, Athlete’s foot, yeast infections and skin rashes as well.
Most of the aforementioned remedies have been used against a variety of fungal and bacterial infections for centuries. Garlic is the best example. People in the past used it to reinforce their immune system and destroy bacteria.
Oregano oil was used against a wide range of infections as well, while one of the most beneficial antibacterial agents was definitely colloidal silver, which we don’t use nowadays. Colloidal silver can treat a variety of bacteria and other types of germs pretty effectively, which makes us wonder why pharmaceuticals rarely use if often.
