- 2 parts of water
- 1 part of tea tree oil
Combine the ingredients in a spray bottle that you’ll shake well
Spray the mixture on your socks, pant cuffs and shoes to repel mosquitoes or ticks.
In case you have a pet at home, you’d better not use tea tree oil. Prepare your mixture with cedarwood, clary sage, peppermint, marjoram, chamomile, myrrh or lavender. This is also the same for the other recipe here!
All-Purpose Homemade Bug Spray
- 10 or 12 drops of Citronella
- 10 drops of Lavender
- 10 or 12 drops of Lemongrass
- 10 or 12 drops of Eucalyptus
- 1-15 oz. bottle of witch hazel
The witch hazel should be divided into several small bottles. Take one of the outside with you and the others can be used anywhere. Leave the bottles filled with about ½” of space at the top.
Combine all of the oils in the witch hazel. Put the lid on top. Shake the bottle. They should be mixed well. Shake this mixture every time you decide to use it.
